Saleh Alatabi, an experimental physicist affiliated with the John Adam Institute for Accelerator Science played a significant role during his Ph.D. tenure at Imperial College. He was instrumental in the development and production of the MK3 microfocus electron impact X-ray device designed for imaging thin materials and biological samples. The technology he contributed to has proven invaluable in a multitude of research x-ray imaging projects led by undergraduate, MSc, and Ph.D. students alike.
